The place has a unique history, being a converted cigar factory, and it's refreshing to find spacious bathrooms that are unexpectedly well-equipped. The availability of a mobile device for local calls is a clever touch, nice for easy navigation and connection.
Accessing the hotel by car is problematic, complicated further by roadworks. Even locating parking can feel like a mission. The lighting in the rooms can be dismal. Some rooms appeared to have inadequate soundproofing, with noises from nearby bars creeping in. Lastly, despite the charm of the building, kitchen amenities seem underwhelming with no dinner options available, forcing you out for meals.

The hotel was in a great location, but my room had a terrible smell, quite unpleasant. The parking situation is ridiculous-walking with luggage on cobblestones is a nightmare! I expected some sort of complimentary treatment for these inconveniences but ended up feeling like just another number. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

It was very convenient and had a lovely athmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room I had was extremely hot and full of flies. The airconditioning was not working and the only window in the room was a door opening onto a communal balcony which I did not feel safe leaving open. I complained to reception and they kindly changed my room to one overlooking the fishmarket. Once again the aircon was not working but I had a window I could open. It was very noisy as it was a holiday weekend and the fishmarket was full of revellers. The rooms are stylishly decorated but very dark.

Very special building, with very spacious and modern interior. Good access to the centre of Mechelen, and the most cosy renovated area in the city.
Very limited WiFi access, while it is not free. 2 hours access for 8 euros and no access from my room. It seems just a lack of numbers of router. Easy to be improved. Simply pity.

Historic charm with modern comfort
The eclectic design of the hotel, blending history with modern comforts, captivated me. The breakfast spread was excellent, with fresh, local ingredients and real attention to detail.
I was disappointed with the noise from nearby bars that lingered late into the night was great. The sauna hours were also limited.

Comfy stay in the heart of the city
Loved the spacious room and the fresh eggs at breakfast! It's super central too, perfect for exploring. Just a heads up, the parking can be tricky, defo book ahead. The wellness area was nice, but could use lockers. A pretty chill experience!

Arrived on a Sunday and it was difficult to find a place to eat early. Little difficult to find without GPS

Giardino meraviglioso con giochi per bambini. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. Colazione abbondante con dolci fatti in casa. Pulizia impeccabile della camera. Atmosfera accogliente e familiare. Cortesia e professionalita del personale. Vicinanza alla zona archeologica di Paestum. Servizi efficienti e organizzati.
Niente da far notare.
